​The Moipu EXTENDER 1900 hydraulic extension boom is an excavator attachment that can be used to equip the excavator for harvesting use. With the help of an extension boom, the excavator gets extended reach and enables hanging mount for the harvester head. The reach can be increased up to 1.9 m. The telescopic boom makes felling work easier and reduces the need to move the machine.
 
The reach of the extension boom and the attachment points of the hoses can be adjusted individually for each machine. Installation is easy with the bolt-on fitting plate. The support leg of the extension boom makes it easier for the machine to move forward in challenging terrain.

THE MOIPU EXTENDER 1900 IS SUITABLE ON MOST EXCAVATORS

The Extender 1900 is an extendable, telescopic extension boom that fits most excavator models. The extension boom adds more reach to the excavator and enables hanging mount for the harvester head. The extension boom enables efficient harvesting work with an excavator.
 
The extension boom gives the excavator additional reach, to make harvesting work easier. The need to move the machine is reduced when the necessary work phases with reaching can be done with the help of a telescopic arm. The hydraulic cylinder of the Extender 1900 extension boom is controlled with base machine hydraulic lines.
 
Installation on the excavator is done using a bolted bracket plate. Various bracket plates with bolts are available as optional accessories. It can also be custom-made to fit the machine.

​The mounting point of the extension boom bracket can be adjusted, allowing the reach of the extension arm to be customized to each machine. On smaller machines, the reach is shortened to maintain stability, while on larger machines it can be increased. The hose attachment points can also be adjusted according to the selected reach.

​The harvester head is attached to the extension boom with a swing damper and a rotator. The swing damper and rotator are also accessories that can be selected as needed. The mounting bracket width of the swing damper is 100 mm, and the peg diameter is 45 mm.

The top of the boom is designed for the Indexator S-100/45 C HD 5016710 swing damper with brake function, but other suitable swing dampers can also be used.

​The extension booms have a support leg as standard, which makes it easier for the machine to move forward in challenging terrain. The support leg of the boom is an advantage, especially when crossing ditches and turning situations.
 
In addition, Extender 1900 extension boom has an adjustable stopper which enables support from the excavator's lifting boom. This increases the stability of the work, especially when the telescopic arm is at full extension position. It also reduces the load on the bucket cylinder of the machine.
