When you install M310 EFI head to your forwarder, you upgrade it to a multipurpose machine. You can then use your machine to handle small thinnings, trim road sides and edges of fields. With M310 EFI head you can cut down, accumulate and load trees. 

The head is suitable for bigger forwarders.

Properties that won't let you down

• ​The well-built tilt frame makes it ideal for unloading the forwarder and feeding wood chippers.
• Accummulation capacity of 3-6 trees depending on the tree size 
• Large opening (106 cm) of the grapple/knives helps to hold trees and makes loading efficient.
• Efficient shear cuts 31 cm of soft wood.

• Light weight  (460 kg), but still strong structure makes the head easy to handle.

Genuinely simple installation

M310 EFI (electric free installation) works without electrics!
This makes the installation really easy. You only have to attach the head to the rotator and connect grapple open and close hoses to the side or bottom of the rotator. Now you are ready to work! 

Electric free installation makes the M310 EFI an universal tool. It is not bound to any specific base machine. As the installation is so quick, you can change the head to a normal grapple and back even during a busy working site.

As if you had always used it

The use of the head is really easy to operate. You only use two buttons: open and close grapple. Logic in the hydraulic block makes sure that you feel as if you have always been using it.

Pressing grapple close -button makes the loading knives shut, the shear cuts and the head tilts down.
Pressing grapple open -button makes the loading knives open and the head tilt up.

Accumulation function is operated when you stop holding the grapple close button after the head has cut a tree. After this, open the loading knives with grapple open button and take the head to the next tree.
