Lightweight and non-clogging feed roller

The open structure makes the Steel feed roller lightweight. This is important when the weight of the harvester head is close to the maximum capacity of the crane and the base machine. The less weight you need to move at the crane head, the more efficient and economical the work becomes.

The gaps between the spikes allow the bark to go through the roller and the roller does not get clogged. Thanks to this, the spikes always push through the bark and get a good grip.

GOOD QUALITY, EVEN WITH THICKER BARK

​The Steel feed roller is a popular basic roller and is especially good for areas with thick-barked trees.

​The spikes have an 11 mm stopper surface, which means that the spikes do not go deeper than this. The rollers have enough grip for the most demanding conditions, but they still leave small spike marks. ​Spikes are symmetrical, so the rollers will not slip even when feeding backwards.

The spikes of Moipu Steel rollers are made of Hardox. The wear-resistant material ensures a long lifetime and makes the structure strong.
